The Role:
The Children's Director will lead individuals into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and serve on the Pine Grove Baptist Church (PGBC) staff giving leadership and vision to the Kids Grove ministry. This individual will offer vision and strategic foresight for the successful growth of the children's ministry.
About the Children's Director
We are looking for a male or female candidate who can give leadership to Kids Grove in totality. This individual must be passionate about the call to ministry and be committed to a dynamic children's ministry. This individual must be able to build a ministry upon sound strategy and must be willing to be hands on and engaged in the lives of children and their families.

- Growing the Kids Grove reach and engagement by creating and implementing a strategy that draws kids and families to Pine Grove
- Championing and leading the charge in reaching and developing the faith of our children
- Recruiting, developing, and empowering teams of volunteers to implement a dynamic ministry to kids
- Ministering to families and encouraging them to connect what happens on Sunday morning to what happens weekly in their home
- Create an awareness of the Kids Grove ministry in the community
Need to have:
- A growing, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ
- Proven track record in recruiting and developing volunteers
- A self-starter mentality that is able to see a vision and move it into reality
- High energy; detail-oriented; innovative; and creative
Good to have:
- Bachelors degree or several years of experience
- Familiarity with the Orange Curriculum (thinkorange.com)
- An understanding of basic technology
