FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM

GROVE CAFE  - The Coffee Team is the center of our hospitality. As a member of this team, you'll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your responsibilities include brewing and serving coffee, refilling supplies, and maintaining a clean and tidy coffee station. Additionally, you will be the friendly face greeting guests as they approach the counter, ensuring everyone feels at home. If you enjoy working with people and have a knack for organization, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference with a smile and a cup of coffee.

GUEST SERVICE TABLE  - The Guest Services Table Team is our frontline in making a lasting impression on new visitors. As a team member, you'll welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, offering a thank you gift as a token of our appreciation for their visit. Your duties include answering questions, providing information about our church, and recording key details from guests for our records. This role is perfect for individuals who do well in customer service and enjoy creating positive experiences. By joining this team, you'll play an important role in making sure every guest feels valued and connected from the moment they walk in.

DOOR GREETER  - The Inside Door Greeter is the friendly face that sets the tone as guests enter the sanctuary. Your primary responsibilities include offering a warm greeting with a welcoming smile and making sure each person feels at ease. You'll also be available to answer questions, provide directions, and help guests find their seats or other areas of interest. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people. As an Inside Door Greeter, you play a key part in making every guest's experience memorable and inviting.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

FELLOWSHIP TEAM  - The Fellowship Team is responsible for creating a sense of connection within our church. As a member of this team, you will help organize and host various events and gatherings that bring people together, such as potlucks, after-service socials, church picnics, and other community-building activities. Your duties may include setting up events, coordinating food and beverages, welcoming attendees, and ensuring a warm and inclusive atmosphere. This role is perfect for those who enjoy bringing people together and have a talent for event planning, food and hospitality. If you're passionate about creating welcoming environments and helping people form lasting relationships within the church, the Fellowship Team is an ideal fit for you. BEREAVEMENT TEAM  - The Bereavement Team provides compassionate support to individuals and families who are experiencing grief and loss. As a member of this team, you will offer comfort and assistance with coordinating meals, cooking, or other forms of support, and helping to organize memorial services or remembrance gatherings. This role is ideal for those who have a caring and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to help others in their time of need. BABY SHOWER TEAM - The Baby Shower Team brings joy and support to expectant parents in our community. As a member of this team, you'll help organize and host baby showers to celebrate new life and welcome upcoming arrivals. Duties include planning shower themes, coordinating decorations and games, organizing food and beverages, and gathering baby gifts for the parents-to-be. Additionally, you may offer words of encouragement, prayer, or other forms of support during this exciting time. This role is ideal for those who enjoy planning events, being creative, and spreading happiness. If you're enthusiastic about helping parents prepare for the journey ahead and creating memorable celebrations, this team is a great fit for you. KIDS GROVE

KIDS GROVE  - Kids Grove needs volunteers who, first and foremost, love Jesus and enjoy hanging out with children to fill a variety of positions: Leading large group, teaching and assisting in small groups, being a buddy to kids who need some extra love, running the computer for large group time, cuddling babies, and wiping bottoms. We are praying God will bring more adults who can help us fill these roles to help tiny humans find and follow Jesus! Kids Grove needs you!!! Do you have a big personality? Enjoy being silly? Do you work well one-on-one? We have spots for all the above!

THE UPRISING STUDENT MINISTRY

UPRISING YOUTH LEADER  - At The Uprising there are many Serve Team roles that range from cleaning up the kitchen, to taking pictures, to leading a small group, and so much more. At The Uprising we have a whole lot of fun, but we never lose our focus which is Jesus Christ. Our youth ministry is constantly growing, and we are always in need of new leaders to accommodate this growth. If you love seeing young people changed by the gospel then this is where you want to be!

LIFE GROUP LEADER

LIFE GROUP LEADER  - The  Life Group Leaders are the heart of our small group ministry, guiding others in their journey of faith and fellowship. As a Life Group Leader, you are responsible for hosting and leading a life group on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. This involves preparing and facilitating devotions, Bible studies, or faith-based discussions that encourage spiritual growth. You will be expected to answer questions, have meaningful conversations, and create a welcoming environment where group members can share their thoughts and experiences. The goal is to help others grow closer to Jesus through real relationships. If you are passionate about guiding others in their faith journey, this role is for you. By serving as a Life Group Leader, you'll be instrumental in creating a supportive and encouraging space for personal and spiritual growth.

WORSHIP ARTS

WORSHIP TEAM  - The  Worship Arts Team is the musical backbone of our church's praise and worship services. As a member of this team, you will play an important role in leading the congregation in song, prayer, and musical worship, guiding them to a deeper connection with Jesus. Responsibilities include singing, playing instruments, and actively participating in prayer, all with the goal of creating a powerful and moving worship experience.
Team members must be able to commit to a weekly practice every Monday at 6:30pm and a Sunday morning rehearsal before the church service. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as well as a heart for worship. If you are passionate about music and worship and are dedicated to helping others grow in their faith through song, this team is an ideal fit. By joining the Worship Arts Team, you'll be part of a dynamic group that inspires and uplifts our congregation every week.
AV TEAM  - The  Audio Visual Team is crucial to ensuring a seamless multimedia experience during our church services and events. As a member of this team, your responsibilities include setting up and operating audio and visual equipment, such as microphones, sound systems, projectors, and video displays. You will also troubleshoot technical issues and ensure that presentations and video elements are correctly displayed.
This role is ideal for those who are tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with audiovisual equipment. If you have a passion for technology and helping create engaging and smooth-running services, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills to support our church. By joining the Audio-Visual Team, you play a key role in enhancing the worship experience and ensuring that our messages are effectively communicated to the congregation.

STAGE TEAM - The Stage Team is crucial to the smooth flow of our events and services. As a member of this team, your duties involve setting up and moving the podium during transitions, particularly as the praise team leads prayer before the sermon. You'll also be responsible for arranging and adjusting stage props to support sermon visuals or special presentations. Additionally, you will add or remove items from the stage as required, ensuring everything is in its proper place. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working behind the scenes to create a visually engaging and orderly environment. By joining the Stage Team, you'll help ensure our services run smoothly and that our stage is always ready to support the message being delivered.

STAGE HOST - The Host Team is the vibrant voice and warm welcome of our congregation. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for getting on stage to greet first-time guests, sharing important announcements, and explaining our giving practices. This role requires confidence in public speaking and a friendly demeanor, as you'll be addressing large groups of people. If you enjoy engaging with others and have a talent for communication, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. SAFETY & MEDICAL TEAM

SAFETY TEAM - The Church Safety Team is dedicated to ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for all church members and visitors. This team is responsible for monitoring the premises during services and events, addressing any safety concerns, and responding to emergencies. Team members are trained in basic first aid and emergency procedures, and they work closely with the team lead. By providing a watchful and reassuring presence, the Church Safety Team helps create a safe space where everyone can worship and participate in church activities with peace of mind. MEDICAL TEAM - Our dedicated Church Medical Team is committed to providing care and support to our congregation during services and events. Comprised of trained healthcare professionals and volunteers, our team is equipped to handle medical emergencies, offer first aid, and ensure the well-being of our congregation. We are here to serve with kindness, and a spirit of healing, ensuring a safe environment for all.

MEN'S MINISTRY

LARGE GROUP DISCUSSION LEADERS  - The Men's Ministry Large Group Discussion Leaders are key facilitators in creating a strong and supportive community among men in our church. As a discussion leader, your role is to guide large group conversations, focusing on topics relevant to men's spiritual growth and everyday life. You will lead sessions that foster open dialogue, encourage meaningful connections, and promote a deeper understanding of faith. This role involves preparing discussion themes and ensuring a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts. If you have a passion for building relationships and guiding spiritual discussions. This role requires confidence in public speaking and a friendly demeanor, as you'll be addressing large groups of men.

MEN'S MINISTRY - The Men's Ministry Helpers are the hands-on support that keeps our men's ministry running smoothly. As a member of this team, you might find yourself lifting and carrying equipment, cooking meals for events, assisting with building projects, or providing general logistical support. Your contributions will be vital in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring that events and activities run without a hitch.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy physical work, problem-solving, and working as part of a team. By joining the Men's Ministry Helpers, you'll play a key role in facilitating the various activities and gatherings that bring our men's ministry to life. OTHER SERVE OPPORTUNITIES

BUILDING & GROUNDS TEAM  - The Building and Grounds Team is essential for maintaining the functionality and appearance of our church facilities. As a member of this team, your duties will involve evaluating the building for upgrades, recommending new services, and suggesting equipment updates to keep everything in top shape. You may also be called upon to fix small projects around the church, such as plumbing issues, broken equipment, or minor repairs. This role is ideal for those with a knack for maintenance, repair, or construction, and a passion for keeping our church safe and welcoming. If you enjoy working with your hands and have a talent for solving practical problems, this team offers a great opportunity to put your skills to use. COUNTING TEAM - The counting team is responsible for collecting, sorting, and processing the monetary gifts that are given in-house on a weekly basis. The counting team processes these gifts, prepares the bank deposit, and enters the gift data into the churches data software, where all giving records are maintained.
